By becoming a member, you’re not just shopping – you’re helping to build a fairer, more sustainable local food system.
Membership means you become a co-owner of the cooperative: you have a say in how it is run, you support local producers, and you share in the benefits created by the community.
As a member, you have the right to:
Vote at the General Assembly
Elect the Board and other representative bodies
Approve key decisions, such as changes to the Statute or major projects
Your membership gives you democratic power: one member, one vote – regardless of how much you spend.
Members enjoy a loyalty points scheme when shopping at the co-op.
Earn points every time you shop
Use points towards future purchases (according to the current loyalty scheme)
Support a system where value is returned to members, not external shareholders
Even if your membership is still being processed, shop staff can guide you so you can start benefiting from loyalty points straight away.
By joining the co-op, you are:
Supporting local farmers and small producers
Encouraging more seasonal, fresh and fairly priced food
Helping to reduce unnecessary packaging and food waste
Your membership strengthens a community-based alternative to conventional retail.
Agreeing to the Statute, which outlines how the cooperative operates (Read Statute here)
Participating in the life of the co-op as much as you are able — by attending meetings, sharing ideas, or volunteering if you wish
Choosing your own level of involvement: some members simply shop and vote, while others also contribute to events, communications, or working groups
Becoming a member is simple:

Provide your contact details so we can process your application.
Read and Agree to the Statute
The Statute explains your rights and responsibilities as a member, and how decisions are made democratically.
Confirm Your Agreement
You’ll be asked to confirm that you have read and agree with the Statute’s terms.
Wait for Confirmation
Once your application has been processed and accepted, you will receive an official confirmation of your membership.
In the meantime, you can already benefit from the loyalty points scheme at the shop – our staff will guide you.
